About this staten island gift
Staten Island people tend to feel a little apart from the rest of New York City, and they like it that way. Whether they grew up on the South Shore, ride the ferry to work in Manhattan, or moved back after years away, a Staten Island shirt is a way of saying where they're from without a long explanation. It's the borough with the ferry, the boardwalk and the big island feel that somehow still sits inside the city. A gift that names their neighborhood or the year they moved home means more than a generic city tee. For someone who commutes, a mug for the morning ferry ride is a small daily reminder of home. For a teen or a new baby, the kids and onesie designs let you start the Staten Island pride early. Add their neighborhood or a family name on the second line and the shirt becomes theirs.
