About this schmidt gift
Schmidt is a name that carries a lot of family history, and the people who wear it often have a story about how it got spelled, misspelled, or shortened at Ellis Island or at the DMV. A shirt with Schmidt on it is a way to claim that name in public, whether it's for a family reunion where cousins all look alike in photos, a German-American holiday table, or just a Schmidt who likes having a name everyone can say. Schmidt is also a name that gets anglicized and mispronounced, so a personal touch matters: add a first name, a family branch, or the year of the reunion on the second line. Work out the spelling with them first, since Schmidt, Schmitt and Schmid all show up in the same family tree. Many designs come in tees for kids and babies, so a whole household can match. A mug with the name suits the kitchen where the family ends up anyway.
