About this colon gift
Colon is a surname with a built-in joke, and the people who carry it have heard every version of it since grade school. A shirt with Colon across the front is the kind of gift they'll probably laugh at first and then wear anyway, especially if you pick a design that treats the name with some affection. It works well for family reunions, where a Colon shirt tells everyone which cousin is which, and for the Colon who has a sense of humor about their name. Add a first name or a family branch on the second line and it stops being a punchline and becomes theirs. A hoodie suits a cold weekend, a mug suits the desk where they answer the same jokes every week, and a baby onesie makes a playful gift for a new Colon arriving soon.
