About this commack gift
Commack is a hamlet in the Town of Huntington on Long Island, and people who grew up there tend to carry the name with them. A shirt that says Commack is how someone who moved away, or who still lives there and wants to show it, wears their hometown. Many families have spent years at Commack schools and sports fields, so a hoodie or tee with the name works for a graduation, a homecoming or a reunion with old classmates. For a parent, a kids tee or onesie with Commack on it becomes an early way to mark where a child started out. A Commack mug suits the person who misses the drive down Jericho Turnpike and wants a daily reminder of home. Add a second line for a graduation year, a street or a class, and the shirt becomes specific to them rather than a generic town souvenir.
