About this echo tech gift
Echo techs, or echocardiographers, spend their shifts in dim rooms with a probe in one hand and a keyboard in the other, measuring the heart while patients watch the screen and wonder what they're seeing. Most of the work happens on their feet or hunched over a cart, so gifts that are soft, warm and practical tend to get used. A tee for the drive in, a hoodie for the cold echo lab, a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't wander to the nurses' station. Putting their credential on the design helps: RDCS or RVT, if that's what they hold, or their cardiac sonography specialty. If you're unsure which credential they earned, write their name and the word tech and let the preview show you how it sits. Graduations from sonography programs in spring and new-hire months are good times to order, and a whole cardiology team can each get a shirt through the Team Shop.
