About this ochopee gift
Ochopee is a small unincorporated community in Collier County, Florida, near the Everglades and the Tamiami Trail, and it's known as the home of the tiny Smallest Post Office in the United States. The people who call it home tend to be proud of how little it is and how far it sits from everything else. A shirt or mug with Ochopee on it is a good fit for someone who has a real connection to the place: a family that's lived out there for years, a friend who settled in the area, or a native who moved away and misses the swamp, the wildlife and the quiet. Because it's a small place, most of the people who would recognize the name are the people who already know it, so the gift works best when it's personal. Add a year they moved there, a street name, or a line that marks their own story. The Florida heat means a light tee will get more wear than a hoodie for most of the year, and a mug is a good pick for the morning coffee they take on the porch.
All ochopee gifts →- A light tee for the Florida heatMost of the year in the Everglades region calls for a cotton tee, so a light T-shirt with Ochopee will see more wear than anything heavier.
- A mug for the morning porchAn 11 oz mug with Ochopee on it suits someone who likes their coffee outside before the heat sets in.
- A hoodie for the cooler monthsWinter nights in South Florida can get chilly, and a hoodie with Ochopee and a year they moved there makes a good cold-weather layer.
- Matching shirts for a familyIf several relatives live in Ochopee, the Team Shop lets you order one design and put each person's name on their own shirt.
