About this waretown gift
Waretown is a small place in Ocean County, New Jersey, a little inland from the barrier islands and the Barnegat Bay shore. People who grew up there tend to carry it with them, whether they still live down the road or have moved away for school or work. A Waretown shirt is a way to say where you're from without a long explanation, and it works for the local who wants something to wear around town, the family that keeps coming back for summers, or the friend who has never actually been but heard the name enough to be curious. Because the town is small, the people who know it best tend to appreciate the detail, so a second line with a street, a school year or a family name can make the design feel like theirs. A hoodie suits the cooler months at the shore, and a mug fits the kitchen of someone who misses the place.
