About this waterloo gift
Waterloo gets two very different crowds, and a shirt with the name lands with both. There's the Waterloo that's a city in Ontario, home to the University of Waterloo and a lot of tech work, and there's the Waterloo that's a town in Iowa, where the people who grew up there tend to stay proud of it. Either way, the person who gets this gift is probably someone who feels a real attachment to the place, whether they still live there, went to school there, or have moved far enough away that the name on a mug starts to feel like home. Pick the designs that fit their story: a hoodie for a student heading into a cold winter, a mug for the transplant who misses the hometown coffee routine, or a tee for a kid learning to say the city's name. Add a second line with a street, a school year or a neighborhood, and the design becomes about their Waterloo rather than just the city's name.
