About this acoustical engineer gift
Acoustical engineers spend their days thinking about things most people never notice: why a concert hall sounds warm, why the office next door is quiet, why a car cabin hums at highway speed. Their friends and family usually don't have a short answer for what they do, so a shirt that says it plainly gets a laugh and starts a conversation. The best gifts for this person have a little nerdy humor in them, the kind only someone who's measured a reverberation time would fully appreciate. Start with the title, then make it theirs with a name, a company-neutral specialty like architectural acoustics, noise control or audio design, or a graduation year if they just finished a degree. A hoodie suits the chilly, over-treated rooms they work in, and a mug is a safe bet for a desk covered in test equipment. If you're buying for a whole acoustics group, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name.
