About this animal technician gift
Animal technicians spend their days caring for lab animals, feeding, cleaning, monitoring health and handling the early mornings and weekends that research animals need. A gift for them should acknowledge that quiet, hands-on work. A soft tee for the drive to the facility, a hoodie for the cold early shift, or a mug for the coffee they drink while doing rounds. The best choice is one that says they do this job. Type animal technician as the main line, and add the lab, facility or species they work with on a second line if the design has one. Adding their name makes it personal and keeps it from getting mixed up in a locker room. Many people in this field take real pride in their care for animals, so a shirt that names the job feels like recognition rather than a novelty.
