About this antique restoration gift
Antique restorers spend their days with a heat gun, a tin of paste wax and a magnifying loupe, bringing back a dresser or a clock that someone else gave up on. Many of them learned from a grandparent's workbench or a dusty estate sale, and the work is slow, precise and mostly done alone with the radio on. A gift for them should respect that. A soft tee for a long afternoon in the shop, a hoodie for the cold garage where the finish takes its time to cure, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the coffee that goes cold while they're absorbed in a joint. Put Antique Restoration across the front, then use the second line for a name, a shop name or the year they started. It turns a generic hobby shirt into one that feels like it belongs to them.
