About this antique restorer gift
An antique restorer spends hours with a magnifying lens, a tiny brush and a bottle of solvent, bringing back a chair or a clock that someone else gave up on. They're usually happiest in a workshop that smells of shellac and linseed oil, surrounded by pieces waiting their turn. A gift that acknowledges the patience the work takes lands well. Put their trade on a tee or hoodie they can wear while sanding or hauling wood, or on a mug for the bench where the coffee goes cold while they fuss over a joint. If you want it to feel personal, add their workshop name, their own first name or the year they started restoring. You can also use the second line for a specialty like furniture, clocks or porcelain, so the shirt says what they actually do.
All antique restorer gifts →- A hoodie for the workshopAntique restorers work in cold sheds and unheated garages, so a warm hoodie with their trade on the front is practical as well as sweet.
- A mug for the benchAn 11oz mug they can keep beside the work, with their name or specialty printed on it.
- A tee with their specialtyAdd furniture, clocks or porcelain on the second line so the shirt matches the pieces they love.
- A kids tee for the apprenticeIf a young relative has started helping in the workshop, a kids tee with the same design makes them feel part of it.
