About this boatwright gift
A boatwright builds and repairs boats by hand, often working with wood, epoxy and old-school joinery that takes years to get right. They tend to spend long days in a shop that smells of cedar and varnish, and they usually know more about tide tables and wood moisture than most people do. A gift that shows you understand the trade lands better than a generic work shirt. A soft tee for the shop or the weekend sail is the easy pick, and a hoodie is the one they'll reach for on cold mornings by the water. Put the word boatwright on it, and add their shop name or the year they started building if you know it, so the shirt becomes theirs. A mug on the bench keeps coffee away from the glue and the sawdust, which is a small kindness any craftsperson will appreciate.
