About this building custodian gift
Building custodians are up before most of the building, and they're often the last person out at night. They know which doors stick, where the spare keys live, and how a floor looks at 6 a.m. before anyone else arrives. A gift for them should acknowledge that quiet, behind-the-scenes work. A tee for the work truck or a hoodie for the cold basement closet fits the job, and a mug with their name gets them through the first coffee of the shift. If you want it to feel personal, put their name on it, or add the building or campus they keep running, like Main Building or Night Shift. Many custodians take real pride in a space that's kept well, and a shirt that names the work says you noticed.
