About this category specialist gift
A category specialist keeps the shelves, listings and product data straight for a retailer, which means a lot of their week is spreadsheets, supplier emails and making sure the right item lands in the right place. It's detailed, behind-the-scenes work, so the gifts that land tend to be the ones that say they know the job. A tee or hoodie with their title on it is a nice nod for a team lunch or a casual Friday, and a mug with their name is the one that ends up on the desk next to the second monitor. Put their name on the second line, or add the team or department they work with. Retail calendars are heavy in late summer and the November to December stretch, so a gift that arrives before that crush is easy to appreciate. Think about whether they wear work clothes or weekend clothes and pick the shirt color to match.
