About this certified dental assistant gift
Certified dental assistants spend their days beside the chair, handing over instruments, keeping the suction going and calming nervous patients while they sit back and open wide. Most of the work happens in small spaces with a lot of gloves and a lot of sterilizing, so the gifts they keep tend to be the ones that make the break room and the drive home a little nicer. A soft tee for a day off, a hoodie for the cold operatory, a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't wander off with a coworker. The detail that lands best is the credential itself, CDA or Certified Dental Assistant, because it's the part they studied for and passed. Put their name underneath, and the shirt stops being a generic dental office shirt and becomes theirs. For a whole office, one design with every assistant's name on their own shirt makes a better team gift than another box of donuts. National Dental Assistants Week falls in late February, and it's a good time to order ahead.
