About this code inspector gift
Code inspectors spend their days walking through buildings that other people built, checking wiring, egress, fire separation and whether the stairs will hold. It's careful work that nobody notices until something goes wrong, and most of them would tell you the best part is the moment a tricky site finally passes. A gift for a code inspector should respect that. A tee or hoodie with their title on it says you know what they do, and it's comfortable enough for the site walks and the long inspection days. Add the city or county they work for, or the year they got certified, and it becomes theirs rather than a generic inspector shirt. A mug suits the desk at the office, where the paperwork piles up. If you're buying for a whole department, the Team Shop lets you order one design with every inspector's name on their own shirt.
