About this conventional machinist gift
A conventional machinist spends the day running lathes and mills by hand-set feeds, speeds and offsets, checking parts against the print with a micrometer and a dial indicator. The work rewards patience and a steady eye, and it's the kind of skill that rarely gets thanked on the shop floor. A shirt or hoodie with their trade on it says you see what they do. Put their shop name or shift under the title if you know it, or add the years they've been at the machine. A mug works well for the break room coffee that goes cold while they're chasing a tight tolerance. If you're buying for a whole shop crew, the Team Shop lets you choose one design and paste each machinist's name, so everyone gets their own shirt in their own size.
