About this copy editor gift
A copy editor spends the day catching the commas and facts that everyone else misses, and most of the time nobody notices the work until something slips through. That's the quiet satisfaction of the job, and it's worth acknowledging in a gift. A soft tee with copy editor on it is a little joke they'll appreciate at a newsroom or publishing house, and a hoodie is the thing they'll reach for on long afternoons hunched over a manuscript. An 11 oz mug fits the desk, where coffee and red pencils coexist. Add a second line for the publication, the agency or the team if you know it, or a year for a career milestone. If you're buying for a whole editorial team, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which makes a better office gift than another box of cookies.
