About this director acute gift
Acute care directors run the units where the sickest patients go, which means long days of staffing calls, budget meetings and the occasional code that pulls them off the schedule. The gifts they keep tend to be practical and a little bit funny, the kind of thing that survives a rough shift. A dark tee for the drive in, a hoodie for the cold early mornings on the floor, or an 11 oz mug that's clearly theirs so nobody else on the team walks off with it. Put their title on it, director acute care or acute care director, and add the year they took the role or the name of their unit. That detail tells them you know what the job actually is. Many directors also cover a whole leadership team, so a single design with each person's name in the Team Shop makes a good thank-you when the year's hard work finally wraps up.
