About this director admission gift
An admissions director spends the year reading applications, running open houses and fielding worried calls from parents, and the gift they keep is usually the one that acknowledges that work. Admissions offices run on long days and tight cycles, with the busiest stretches in the fall application season and again in the spring when decisions go out. A tee or hoodie they can wear to a campus tour, or a mug that stays on the desk through a crowded fall, tends to land well. Add their title, the office they work in, or the year they started, and the gift becomes specific to them. If you're shopping for a whole admissions team, one design with each person's name on their own shirt is an easy way to thank everyone at once. Keep the wording plain and accurate, since a title someone actually holds reads better than a flourish.
