About this director broadcast operations gift
A broadcast operations director runs the control room that keeps a station or network on the air, juggling master control, playout schedules, switching crews and the constant fire drill of a live feed that can't go dark. They tend to be the calmest person in a room full of alarms, and the gifts they keep are the ones that acknowledge the job without pretending it's glamorous. A dark tee for the long shift in the control room, a hoodie for the cold server floor, or a mug that is clearly theirs so it doesn't disappear into the break room. Put the exact title on it, director broadcast operations, or shorten it to broadcast ops director if that's how the team talks. If you're buying for the whole operations group, one design with each person's name on their own shirt makes a better team gift than another box of donuts. Make it theirs by choosing the wording they'd actually say out loud.
