About this director catering gift
A catering director runs the behind-the-scenes machine that makes events work: menus, staffing, timelines and the constant phone calls that keep a wedding or banquet on schedule. They're often the one who's been on their feet since before dawn and is still answering texts after the last plate goes out. A gift that acknowledges that grind lands better than something generic. A dark tee or hoodie is a practical choice for the long early-morning setups and late breakdowns, and a mug with their title on it fits the office coffee station or the prep kitchen counter. Put the words catering director on it, or add the company or venue they lead on a second line, and it becomes clearly theirs. It's a job where people rarely get thanked in public, so a personal piece of clothing or a cup for their own desk can mean more than it might for someone whose work shows up on a screen.
