About this director community relations gift
A director of community relations usually sits between an organization and the neighborhoods, donors, partners and local officials it depends on. Their days run on calendars full of open houses, ribbon cuttings, advisory meetings and the phone calls that come after something goes wrong. They're often the calmest person in the room and the one who remembers everyone's name. A gift that acknowledges that work lands well: a tee for the event days when they're on their feet from breakfast to the last handshake, a hoodie for the early site visits and cold evening meetings, or a mug for the desk where the real planning happens. Make it theirs by adding their organization or their own name on the second line. A title alone is a fine gift, but the name makes it feel like it was picked for them.
