About this director cost gift
A director of cost, or cost director, spends the working day tracking where money goes in an organization, tightening budgets, reviewing contracts and explaining variances to people who would rather not hear them. The job is detail-heavy and often thankless until a quarter comes in under plan, so the gifts that land tend to be the ones that acknowledge the grind. A tee for the commute or the weekend, a hoodie for the cold office, or a mug that is clearly theirs for the coffee that keeps the spreadsheets moving. Put their title on it exactly as their company uses it, or shorten it to Cost Director or Director of Cost so it reads cleanly. A second line with a team or department name, or a year they joined, makes the shirt feel like theirs rather than a generic job tee. Titles vary between companies, so check the wording before you order, and type it in the text box to see how it fits on the design.
