About this director instrumentation gift
A director of instrumentation usually sits between the process engineers and the technicians who keep the plant running, so their days are full of sensors, control loops, calibration schedules and plenty of meetings about why a valve is reading wrong. Gifts that land with them tend to be practical and a little bit proud of the job. A hoodie for the cold walk through a unit, a tee for the weekend project, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the first coffee before the morning review. The most meaningful version adds their title or their specialty on a second line, so the gift says they know exactly what they do. If you're buying for a whole instrumentation team, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name, which is a nicer send-off than another round of donuts. Include their site or department if you know it, and check the preview spacing before you order.
