About this director multimedia gift
A multimedia director usually sits where video, audio, graphics and interactive work all have to land on the same deadline. They spend long days in review meetings, rendering queues and client calls, and most of the thanks they get goes to whoever the final piece is credited to. A gift that acknowledges the craft behind the work tends to land well. A tee for the studio or a hoodie for cold editing suites is practical, and putting their title on it names the job accurately. If they lead a team, add the department or the project year on a second line so the shirt carries a bit of their history. A mug with their title is the kind of thing that ends up on a desk next to the monitors and reminds them someone noticed the job they actually do.
