Guidance Counselor Varsity Arch mug

About this guidance counselor gift

School guidance counselors spend their days helping students plan schedules, untangle friend trouble, and figure out what comes after graduation, often while juggling a stack of transcripts and a full calendar of parent calls. The gifts they keep tend to be the ones that acknowledge the quiet, behind-the-scenes side of the job. A soft tee for the days they're running between the front office and the cafeteria, a hoodie for the chilly mornings before the building warms up, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the coffee that gets cold while they listen to someone else's problems. What lands best is personal detail. Add their name, or the school year they started, and the shirt stops being a generic counselor tee and becomes theirs. If you're buying for a whole counseling team, one design with each person's name on their own shirt makes a thoughtful end-of-year gift. Counselors often have the busiest stretch in the spring, around course selection and college application season, so ordering a few weeks early helps.
