About this horticultural therapist gift
A horticultural therapist works where plants meet people who need them, often in hospitals, rehab centers, senior homes, schools or community gardens. They might spend the morning helping a stroke patient rebuild grip strength by repotting seedlings and the afternoon running a planting group for teens who don't talk much. Their days smell like potting soil and they tend to keep a trowel and a pair of gloves in the car at all times. A gift that fits that life is practical and a little earthy. A tee for the greenhouse or the long drive between sites, a hoodie for the chilly mornings before the beds thaw, or a mug for the coffee they drink while planning next week's sessions. Put their profession on it, then add a second line for their workplace or the name they go by, and it becomes clearly theirs. Many horticultural therapists also hold a credential such as HTR or OTR/L, so if they've earned one, adding it makes the gift feel specific to the work they've trained for.
