About this industrial design intern gift
Industrial design interns spend their days in sketch sessions, foam model shops and critique rooms, often on a laptop in a corner of a studio that smells like spray adhesive. They're learning fast, and they're usually a little worn out by the end of a long prototype week. A gift that acknowledges the internship lands well because it says someone noticed the work. A tee with their title on the front is a good start, and it works for the studio hallway, the weekend, or the first photo of the summer. A hoodie suits the cold shop floor and the late nights before a final review. A mug with their name and role is the kind of thing that ends up on a desk and stays there through the whole internship. To make it theirs, add their name on a second line, or the program year, so it reads as their story rather than a generic label.
