About this lab techn gift
Lab techs spend their shifts with gloves on, watching screens, running samples and keeping track of a lot of small details nobody else sees. The gifts they actually keep tend to be the ones that acknowledge that work without making it a joke. A soft tee for the commute, a hoodie for the cold corner of the lab, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the coffee they drink while the centrifuge runs. The best way to make it personal is to put their title on it, and to add the thing they're known for, whether that's hematology, microbiology, phlebotomy or their certification, so it reads as their job and not a generic science shirt. If you're buying for a whole department, one design with each person's name on their own shirt is a nicer group gift than a card passed around the break room.
