About this line cook gift
Line cooks spend their shifts standing over a hot flat-top or fryer with a ticket rail to watch, and most of them are on their feet for ten hours or more before they even think about dinner. The gifts they actually use are the ones that suit that life: a tee that can take a splash of stock and a wash after every shift, a hoodie for the walk-in cooler, a mug for the coffee they drink in the five minutes before the rush. A line cook gift lands best when it shows you know the work. Put their station or their kitchen's name in the second line if they'd want it, and the shirt becomes theirs. If you're buying for a whole crew, one design with each cook's name on their own shirt is a better gift than another round of drinks after close.
All line cook gifts →- A tee for the prep daysA light or dark shirt with line cook on the front and their name underneath is an easy everyday wear for the commute and the shift.
- A hoodie for the walk-inLine cooks run cold in the walk-in and hot on the line, so a hoodie covers both ends of the shift.
- A mug for the pre-shift coffeeAn 11 oz mug with their name keeps the break-room coffee from walking off.
- Matching shirts for the crewPick one design in the Team Shop and paste the kitchen's names. Each cook gets their own size.
