About this machine tech gift
A machine tech spends the day with their hands in equipment that has to run, usually on a schedule somebody else set. They diagnose the fault, swap the part, and get the line back up before the shift ends, and most of that work happens out of sight. The gifts they tend to keep are the ones that acknowledge the work without making it a joke. A dark tee works well for the job site or the garage, a hoodie handles the cold shop floor and the drive in, and a mug fits the break room coffee routine. Put their name on it, and add the plant, shop or crew they work with on the second line, so it's clearly theirs. Shop tees take a beating, so a dark shirt that holds up through a lot of washing is a practical choice. If you're buying for a whole crew, one design in the Team Shop with every name on its own shirt makes a better shared gift than another box of donuts.
