About this manager emergency gift
An emergency manager is the person who plans for the worst day a town or organization can have, then stays calm when it arrives. They spend long stretches on drills, plans and paperwork that nobody notices until a storm, flood or outage hits, and then they're the one coordinating everyone at two in the morning. A gift that nods to that work lands well: something they can wear to a training, a mug for the command post coffee that's going to go cold anyway, or a hoodie for the long shifts in a cold operations center. Putting the word emergency on the front, with their title or agency on the second line, makes it clearly theirs. Many designs have room for a second line, so you can add a title like Emergency Manager, a county name or the year they started. It reads as recognition of the job, not just a generic work shirt.

- A mug for the command postAn 11 oz mug gives them a dependable way to hold coffee through a long activation, and it's easy to pick out from the rest.
- A hoodie for the operations centerOperations rooms run cold, so a hoodie with their title is practical and marks the work they do behind the scenes.
