About this manager ethics gift
Someone who works in manager ethics spends a lot of time deciding what's fair when no rule quite covers the situation. They sit between the people who set targets and the people who have to hit them, and they're often the one who says a deal can't go through or a complaint has to be reported even when it's inconvenient. A gift for them should acknowledge that work without making a joke of it. A plain tee for the commute or the weekend, a hoodie for the long days of reviews and difficult conversations, or a mug they can hold while they draft the next policy memo are all practical choices. Put the word manager ethics on the front, and add their team, their company, or the year they started the role on the second line, so it reads as theirs and not as a generic office item. A shirt that names the job lets them wear their values into a room without having to explain them.
