About this manager exchange gift
A manager exchange is a word people usually say with a bit of a grin, and it points at a particular kind of job: the person who sits at a desk, keeps the tickets moving, and is the first call when something breaks at two in the afternoon. Managers in exchange work, whether on a trading floor, in an exchange-facing business, or in an office that handles the back end of the market, tend to live by their calendars, their phones and their coffee. A tee or hoodie they can wear on the commute, or a mug that marks the desk as theirs, reads as thoughtful because it acknowledges the long days. To make it theirs, put the word on the front and add their name, their team or their start year on the second line. Light tees suit the office, dark ones suit the weekend, and a hoodie covers the cold trading-floor air-conditioning they always complain about.
