About this manager local gift
A local manager is the person who keeps the place running: they open the doors, cover the shift nobody else can, sort out the supplier that didn't deliver, and somehow still know every regular's name. They're usually the first in and the last out, and the job is mostly the small problems that never make it into a report. A gift for them should acknowledge that quiet competence. A soft tee they can wear on a Saturday off, a hoodie for the chilly early-morning opening, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the back office coffee run will all get used. Put the word manager on it, add the name of the store, restaurant or team they run, and the gift stops being generic and becomes a little piece of their own workplace. Because managers often wear their work home, a shirt with their role on it can also be a quiet way of saying you noticed what it takes.
