About this managing supervisor gift
A managing supervisor usually sits between the people doing the work and the people deciding what gets done. They run shift schedules, handle the call when something breaks at two in the afternoon, and carry the team through deadlines that nobody else wants to own. Most of the thanks they get comes at the end of a long week, if at all. A gift that acknowledges the job itself lands well: a tee for the drive in, a hoodie for the cold office or the warehouse floor, a mug for the first coffee before the phones start. Put their title on it, or add the department or the team name underneath so it reads as theirs, not a generic work shirt. If you're buying for a whole crew, one design with each person's name on their own shirt is a nice way to thank the supervisor who keeps everyone pointed the same direction.
