About this materials internship gift
A materials internship usually means long lab hours, a stack of data sheets, and a lot of learning on the job before the first real project lands. The person getting this gift is probably a student or recent graduate who is trying to figure out where they fit in an industry that runs on testing, specs and careful notes. What tends to land well is something practical they can wear to the lab or the office, plus something that marks the moment they got the internship. Put the word materials internship on a tee, then add the company or the lab name, or the season they're working, in the second line. A hoodie works well for cold lab rooms and early commutes, and a mug is a good fit for the steady coffee that gets most people through a long day of testing. If the intern is part of a larger cohort, the Team Shop can put every intern's name on the same design, so the group arrives at the first day looking like they belong together.
