Mathews Varsity Arch mug

About this mathews gift

Mathews is a family name first, so the people who'd wear this are usually the ones who grew up with it: cousins at a reunion, the aunt who still signs cards with it, a newborn who'll carry it forever. A Mathews shirt works as a family marker at reunions and weddings, the kind of thing everyone reaches for when a group photo is being arranged. It also fits a grandparent's kitchen, where a mug with the family name gets used every morning. Because the word also appears as a place name, some shoppers will be thinking of a town rather than a family, so check the design you pick matches what you mean. The easiest way to make it personal is the second line. Add the reunion year, a first name, or the branch of the family, and the shirt stops being generic. For a group, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which saves a lot of back-and-forth about sizes.
