About this nurse sane gift
Nurses spend long shifts on their feet, so the gifts they keep tend to be the ones that make the hours off a little easier. A soft tee for the drive home, a hoodie for the cold break room, a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't wander off the unit. What lands best is the detail that shows you know the work. Put their name on it, or add the unit they work on, like ICU, ER or Labor and Delivery. If they've earned a credential, like RN, BSN or their certification, adding it turns a generic nurse shirt into one that's theirs. For a new graduate, the year they finished school gives the gift a real reason to exist. If you're shopping for a whole unit, one design with every nurse's name can be a better Nurses Week gift than another tray of pastries. Nurses Week falls in early May, which is also when many nursing programs graduate, so order a little ahead of that rush.
