About this nurse technician gift
Nurse technicians, the people often called techs or patient care techs, are the hands that do a lot of the hands-on work on a unit. They take vitals, help patients up and walk them down the hall, change beds, and keep the rooms moving between shifts, usually on their feet for most of a twelve-hour stretch. The gifts they keep tend to be the practical ones: a soft tee that survives a hard laundry cycle, a hoodie for the cold break room, a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't disappear into the staff kitchen. Putting their title on it shows you understand what the job is, not just that they work in a hospital. Add their name, and maybe their unit or shift, and the shirt becomes theirs. If you're buying for a whole team of techs, one design with each person's name on their own shirt is a gift they'll actually wear to work, which is the best kind of compliment for a job this physical.
