About this nutrition internship gift
A nutrition intern spends long days on feet at a clinic or hospital, pulling together meal plans, sitting in on counseling sessions and chasing down research for a supervising dietitian. Most of the work happens before anyone sees the title on a badge, so a gift that names the internship tells them you noticed how hard they're working. A soft tee works well for the early shifts and the commute home, and a hoodie carries them through the cold mornings in a clinic lobby. An 11 oz mug fits the office kitchen, where interns often end up with a pot of coffee and a stack of handouts. Add the program name, the setting they're training in, or the year they start or finish, and the gift stops being generic. The internship is a stepping stone, so the details that matter most are the ones that mark this particular stretch of their training.
