About this occupational therapist gift
Occupational therapists spend their days helping people relearn the everyday things: buttoning a shirt after a stroke, handwriting for a kid in second grade, getting back to the kitchen after a hand injury. Most of the work happens in clinics, hospitals, schools and people's homes, and it's often quiet, careful and very physical. A gift that acknowledges that work lands well. A tee or hoodie is useful for the commute, the home visits and the long weekend, and a mug works for the early-morning charting session. Put their name on it, or the word occupational therapist, and it becomes theirs rather than a generic gift. If you're buying for a whole department or a clinic team, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which tends to be more appreciated than another box of donuts.
