About this orthopaedic doctor gift
Orthopaedic doctors spend their days with bones, joints and the people who are trying to get back on their feet. Many of them are in the operating room for long stretches, then on call, then back in clinic, so the gifts they actually use are the ones that make the hard hours easier. A soft tee for a day off, a hoodie for cold hospital corridors, or a mug for the first coffee before rounds all fit that life. Make it theirs by putting their name on it, or their specialty, and add the credential they earned, such as MD or DO, so it reads as a real mark of their training. If you're buying for a whole practice or surgical team, one design with each person's name on their own shirt is a better way to say thanks than another box of pastries. Residency graduations in spring and new attending start dates in early summer are the moments people tend to remember.
