About this photographer assistant gift
A photographer's assistant is the person who shows up before the shoot and stays after it, hauling light stands, managing batteries, holding reflectors in the wind and keeping track of a dozen memory cards. They rarely get their name on the final images, so a gift that acknowledges the work behind the work tends to land well. Think about the long days on location, the cold mornings and the gear bags that never get lighter. A tee or hoodie with their title on it is a nod to all of that, and it's something they can wear on set, where crew shirts are common. Add a second line with the studio name, the type of shoot they usually work, or the year they started, and it becomes specific to them rather than a generic job shirt. For a daily reminder, a mug works well in a car or studio kitchen where coffee is a constant.
