About this planning intern gift
A planning intern is usually the person who has just figured out that the job is about more than spreadsheets. They sit in on meetings they're not quite sure they belong in, learn which zoning terms matter, and spend a lot of time explaining to friends what they actually do all day. A gift that says planning intern tells them you noticed the work and the first step into it. Their coffee mug at a desk where they're still settling in is a small, daily reminder that they belong there. A tee or hoodie works for site visits, weekend walks through their own neighborhood, and the first time someone asks what they do. If they're finishing an internship at the end of a semester, a hoodie with the year on it marks the moment. Add their name on the second line, or the school or department if they want it, and the design becomes theirs rather than just a job title.
