About this product management internship gift
A product management intern is usually two things at once: a student or early-career person still figuring out what the job is, and someone already sitting in roadmap meetings and trying to sound like they belong. Most days involve user interviews, writing up feature specs, sorting out what engineering can actually ship this sprint, and learning which stakeholder needs a slide and which needs a phone call. A gift that acknowledges that stretch lands well. A tee with the internship title and the company's team or the program's year gives them something to wear on the first day back on campus, and it's a small marker of a role that often ends without any ceremony. A hoodie suits the long remote stretch of coding-adjacent work and late-night doc writing. A mug on the desk tends to get used every morning for the whole summer. If they're interning somewhere specific, add the program name or year on the second line so the design reflects their experience rather than a generic job title.
