About this quantity surveyor gift
Quantity surveyors work out what a building will cost before anyone breaks ground. They price materials, measure takeoffs, check tender bids and keep a project from drifting over budget, which means a lot of their working life is spreadsheets, site visits and long conversations with contractors. A gift that acknowledges that work lands well. A soft tee for the site visit, a hoodie for the cold site office, or a mug for the desk where the estimates get finished. Put quantity surveyor on it and add a second line for their firm, their specialty or the year they qualified, and it becomes a shirt that says exactly what they do. If you're shopping for a whole estimating team, one design in the Team Shop with each person's name on their own shirt is a better team gift than another lunch order. Many quantity surveyors also hold a professional credential, so if they've earned one, use their own abbreviation for it rather than a guess.
