About this radiology technician gift
Radiology technicians spend their shifts behind a lead-lined door, positioning patients for X-rays, CTs and MRIs and working quickly when the ER is busy. Most of the job happens out of sight, so the gifts they tend to appreciate are the ones that acknowledge the work. A tee with their title on it works for the drive in, a hoodie keeps them warm in a chilly imaging suite, and an 11 oz mug gives them something that's clearly theirs in a break room full of shared cups. Put their name on it and the title underneath, or add the department or hospital where they work. If they're finishing a program or earned a certification, typing that credential into the second line makes the shirt feel like it was made for them rather than for any technician in general. For a whole imaging department, one design with each person's name in the Team Shop is an easy way to mark Radiologic Technology Week, which is held in November.
